Early Intake — Scottsdale Pilot

We’re planning a limited pilot in Scottsdale (Dec–Feb). This early intake helps us understand demand, athlete profiles, and group structure before finalizing locations and schedule. Families who submit will receive priority placement once details are confirmed. Groups are capped. Not all applicants will be placed. This pilot is designed to establish a recurring winter training environment in Scottsda

This is not a drop-in basketball program

Hoop Remedy is a structured development environment designed for families who value clarity, standards, and long-term progress. We intentionally keep groups small so coaching quality stays high.

Why this program exists

Many youth basketball environments prioritize drills over decisions and volume over quality. At ages 9–13, athletes are forming habits that compound for years — or limit them later regardless of talent. Our job is to install the habits that hold up under pressure.

What training looks like

Every session follows a repeatable structure so progress is visible and standards are enforceable. Training is built around 3-player rotations so every athlete is either playing, being coached, or actively observing — never standing idle.

  • Movement prep + posture work
  • Decision-based skill blocks
  • Spacing + off-ball principles
  • Small-sided games (3v3 emphasis)
  • Accountability close + next-step focus

What makes this different

  • Small groups only (6–9 athletes; standards protected)
  • Semi-private format — not a camp, not a class
  • Constraints over flash — choices under pressure
  • Clear expectations for effort, focus, and coachability

Who this is for (and not for)

For Athletes ages 9–13 who respond to structure and want real development.

Not for Drop-in runs, open gym, highlight-chasing, or childcare coverage.

Schedule & structure

  • Season: December → February (pilot)
  • Sessions: 2× per week
  • Session length: 75 minutes
  • Group size: 6–9 athletes
  • Capacity: Strictly capped

Because groups are capped, placement is not guaranteed for all inquiries.

How placement works

This is a pilot program, not open registration. We place athletes to protect group quality and standards.

  1. Submit the inquiry form
  2. Brief placement conversation
  3. Confirm schedule + start date

About the coach

FAQs

Is this a camp or drop-in class?

No. This is a semi-private training environment with capped groups and standards. We run it as a structured program.

What if my child is new to training?

That can be a fit if they’re coachable and willing to follow structure. We place athletes to protect the learning environment.

Do you separate groups by age or skill?

Placement is evaluation-based. Age is a guide; decision-making and coachability determine the best fit.

How do I request placement?

Use the placement inquiry form and we’ll respond with schedule options and next steps if there’s a fit.
